Dr. SP Singh, Chairman Indus Hospitals (MBBS, MS-PGI)

With the vast experience of 45 years in the healthcare industry, Dr. Sant Prakash Singh is certainly an endless source of never-ending inspiration for the young aspirants of the medical profession. Way back in the year 1965, when Dr. SP Singh first completed his MBBS from the prestigious Government Medical College of Amritsar, the idea of becoming an eminent surgeon was still new to his beliefs. Nevertheless, Dr. Singh started the medical journey with utter passion and dedication- he did his MS from the world-renowned Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI), and worked as a Senior Medical Officer (SMO) with Punjab Civil Medical Services for nearly 30 years. Meanwhile, he was also appointed as a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in the various towns of Punjab.

The vast career of 45 years in the medical profession is nothing but a sheer tale of undaunted service and medical devotion! Dr. Singh has shared the best time of his life in serving the rural divisions of Punjab. In the course of providing medical services to the neediest, Dr. SP Singh stepped ahead to found the famous Jiwan Nursing Home, Jalalabad in 1988. After 30 years, the regional nursing home has taken the shape of world famous Indus Healthcare group! The wonders of transforming a rural healthcare center into a top-quality healthcare group were made possible with the aid of experience, dedication and commitment in work. A simple minded person with a subtle lifestyle has indeed changed the face of medical reality for the vast numbers of patients. For the medical professionals, Mr. Singh is nothing less than a living legend- an epitome of excellence in healthcare service. Indus healthcare is proud to derive its inspiration from Dr. Singh!

Dr. SPS Bedi, Director Clinical Services (MBBS, MD)

We would have used the word ‘vast’ for defining his achievement, but then the word fall short in its magnitude! Dr. SPS Bedi and his life in the medical profession is nothing but a live example of infinite accomplishments. On records, Dr. Bedi shares the position of a credible Anesthesiologist and critical care unit specialist but off records, he is the most compassionate colleague to work with! Dr. SPS Bedi has worked as an Assistant Professor of Anesthesia and ICU unit in the prestigious PGIMER, Chandigarh. As a medical professional, he holds Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Management as well as in Medical Law & Ethics. Besides, he has also done a course in Healthcare innovation and entrepreneurship from Duke University, Durham and a course in Design & Interpretation of Clinical Trials from John Hopkins University. Dr. Bedi also shares a proud association with American Hospital Architects Association.

 His experience in Strategic Negotiations, equipment purchase, ICU & OT designing, planning and execution of healthcare programs has always inspired us for heading towards an innovative take at Indus. For Indus, Dr. Bedi works as a team leader for the critical areas (OT, Emergency, HDU, and ICU) and the Anesthesia Department. The expertise that Dr. Bedi brings to the board has helped Indus tremendously, especially in the departments of Infection control, Emergency and Critical care. His special interest in Operation Theatre Management, Policy Formulation/Implementation, NABH accreditation, Practice Management, Negotiation and mediation, emergency service management and equipment procurement has churned best results of Indus. As an inspiring member of Indus Healthcare Academic Board, Dr. Bedi is also responsible for teaching and training DNB candidates. Any why not- the experience, the research publications and the numerous memberships that he holds in the various scientific societies makes Dr. Bedi stand tall and unique in the field of medical science.

Dr. Vandana Sharma, Director- Administrative Services (MBA- HCS ) AMPH (ISB)

Dr Vandana Sharma has been with Indus Healthcare since 2009 and in addition to Director - Administrative Services, she is also the HOD for Department of Preventive and Occupational health and Chairperson of Committees like Safety and Risk Management Committee and Radiation Safety. She did her AMPH (Advanced Management Programme in Healthcare) from ISB (Indian School Of Business) which is world renowned, being 24th in FT Global ranking and No.1 Business School In India. She did her MBA in healthcare Services followed by Certificate Courses- Internal Counsellor Program on NABH from Quality council of India in 2011, Auditor/Lead Auditor Training Course in Occupational Health and safety management Systems in 2014, Healthcare Executive Management Development Programme in 2015 from All India Institute of Medical sciences (AIIMS) Delhi. She has headed projects such as Training of Trainer (TOT) for Disaster Management/First Aid (2014) at MGSIPA Chandigarh, National Rural Health Mission -Multi Specialty Surgical Camps in Himachal Pradesh under Ministry of Family and Health, Training of Employees of BBMB Northern Region (2008) and Gynae Backlog Project in Southern Africa. Her areas of Expertise are Occupational Health and Safety Trainings, Preventive and Occupational Healthcare Services and Activities under Corporate Social Responsibilities apart from managing admin department of Hospital. She has been awarded "Indian Women Achiever Award "in Jan, 2017 and "National Women Excellence Award" in 2018 and Humanity Achiever Award in 2018 for her exemplary contribution to the Society and the nation and has been nominated for a few more. She was also Mrs Perfect-Mrs India Beauty Queen 2015 and Mrs India Earth -Charity Ambassador in 2016.

Ms. Neelu Ahluwalia, Team Leader Quality Compliance (Masters in Political Science, Certification in Healthcare Quality Management)

Powered with the ability to work with diverse groups, Ms. Neelu Ahluwalia is a professional that brings the vast experience of 12 years in Client interactions and operational management to Indus. The charming personality shares the interactional and operational base with several renounced organizations like Times of India, First Advantage (a Fortune 500 Company), IBM, Acer, and so on. Ms. Ahluwalia and her proficiency in dealing with different paradigms make her unique- not everyone is blessed to have such charismatic interpretational and analytical skills! As far as her academic front is concerned, Ms. Neelu shares an Honors degree in Psychology and Masters in Political Science. Her target oriented approach has always benefitted the working environment of Indus in the best possible way. Ms. Neelu Ahluwalia has been working with Indus since 2009, leading the Quality Steering Department and also streamlining the integral processes in various departments of Indus. In the year 2011, Ms. Neelu also completed her ‘Internal Counselor Programme on NABH Standards’. The programme was conducted by Quality Council of India and has helped her ultimate vision of providing quality care to all the patients.
