Dr. Bedi, a renowned and reputed Anesthesiologist and Critical Care Specialist, started his career as Assistant Professor of Anesthesia & ICU at the prestigious PGIMER, Chandigarh. His penchant to influence the way healthcare is delivered made him look beyond a life in ICUs and Operation Rooms. He was convinced that Healthcare to be efficient needs out of box thinking and process innovation. He forayed into healthcare management by completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Management from the National Health and family welfare Institute; He further strengthened his knowledge through a PG Diploma in Medical law & Ethics from Prestigious National Law School Bangalore. He went on to enhance his knowledge in Healthcare Planning, delivery and management by doing a course in Healthcare innovation and entrepreneurship from Duke University, Durham; a Course in Design & Interpretation of Clinical Trials from John Hopkins University and Healthcare Leadership course from University of New South Wales, Australia. He polished his skills and innovative methodology by Completing MBA course in Healthcare (HMP) at world renowned Indian School of Business (Popularly known as ISB).At Indus Healthcare he has been playing a pivotal role in strengthening the group through his expert advice on Business strategy, Positioning and segmentation and expansion planning. His biggest contributions come from his experiences as a clinician. He introduced Clinical governance, Clinical Audits, Outcome monitoring, Process standardization, Designed and dictated clinical codes and safety standards, to ensure optimization of patient care treatments and clinical services, Introduced Clinical excellence programs and supervised their implementation across Indus group of Hospitals. He is a member of Indus Healthcare Academic Board and is responsible for teaching and training DNB candidates. He brings to Indus strong core competency in Healthcare delivery which is one of the core Businesses of the company.

Director- Administrative Services
Dr Vandana Sharma has been with Indus Healthcare since 2009 and in addition to Director - Administrative Services, she is also the HOD for Department of Preventive and Occupational health and Chairperson of Committees like Safety and Risk Management Committee and Radiation Safety. She did her AMPH (Advanced Management Programme in Healthcare) from ISB (Indian School Of Business) which is world renowned, being 24th in FT Global ranking and No.1 Business School In India. She did her MBA in healthcare Services followed by Certificate Courses- Internal Counsellor Program on NABH from Quality council of India in 2011, Auditor/Lead Auditor Training Course in Occupational Health and safety management Systems in 2014, Healthcare Executive Management Development Programme in 2015 from All India Institute of Medical sciences (AIIMS) Delhi. She has headed projects such as Training of Trainer (TOT) for Disaster Management/First Aid (2014) at MGSIPA Chandigarh, National Rural Health Mission -Multi Specialty Surgical Camps in Himachal Pradesh under Ministry of Family and Health, Training of Employees of BBMB Northern Region (2008) and Gynae Backlog Project in Southern Africa. Her areas of Expertise are Occupational Health and Safety Trainings, Preventive and Occupational Healthcare Services and Activities under Corporate Social Responsibilities apart from managing admin department of Hospital. She has been awarded "Indian Women Achiever Award "in Jan, 2017 and "National Women Excellence Award" in 2018 and Humanity Achiever Award in 2018 for her exemplary contribution to the Society and the nation and has been nominated for a few more. She was also Mrs Perfect-Mrs India Beauty Queen 2015 and Mrs India Earth -Charity Ambassador in 2016.
|Ms. Neelu Ahluwalia,
Director – Quality Services
Ms Neelu Ahluwalia has had a checkered career of more than 18 years with several renowned organizations like Times of India, First Advantage (a Fortune 500 Company), IBM, Acer, etc. She has been working with Indus since 2009, leading the Quality Steering Department and also streamlining the integral processes of various departments of Indus in areas such as credentialing, medical staff peer review, health information management, formulary processes, incident reporting etc. In 2011, Ms. Neelu completed her ‘Internal Counselor Program on NABH Standards’ and ‘Heath Care Quality Management Systems’ in 2014. As Chairperson of the Quality Steering Committee, she has been instrumental in facilitating a shift in the organisation’s mind-set and delivery systems the focus being on clinical outcome (content) quality and customer service (delivery) quality . The Quality department under her guidance has successfully got NABH accreditation (NABH is a member of the International Accreditation Council - ISQua) from the Quality Council of India for two of the hospitals of INDUS group and three hospitals are being prepared for the accreditation assessment.

Mr. Balwinder has a proven track record of successful project management through methodical, thorough and diligent work. He is reputed to deliver high - value projects in matrixed organizations and across different geographies. An MBA (Project Management) from National Institute of Management, he has successfully completed several multifunctional Health projects in various environments. He has developed , administered resource plans and budgets for several projects as Manager (Project & Legal) Indus Hygeia, Mohali and Indus Super Speciality Hospital, Mohali ; Director (Project & Legal) Francistown Academic Hospital ; Indus International Hospital, Dera Bassi ; Mother & Child Hospital, Fatehgarh Sahib Government Hospital-PPP; Nursing College (Jiwan Educational Society). His areas of competency are planning for the project from the nascent stage to completion, adherence to Legal Compliances and Statutory Obligations, and liasoning with various Government department and Banks.

General Manager - Africa Business
Mr Gulwinder Singh, a Hospital and Healthcare Services Management professional, is experienced in specialist healthcare delivery services in multiple jurisdictions and at multiple international health systems. After successfully completing his Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital and Healthcare Management (PGDHHM) from Global Institute of Healthcare Management, he focused on the paradigm of healthcare, understanding the functioning of both private and public health care sectors. He moved on to gain experience in newer partnership arrangements in quality hospital services delivery. In 2011-2012, he was the Team Manager for the Gynae Cancer Backlog Project (GCBP) team, a Public Private Partnership of Indus Healthcare with Ministry of health (Botswana). Since 2013, Mr Gulwinder has been in Botswana, at the forefront as the Project Coordinator, developing technical facilities and monitoring systems which are required for specialist services delivery across Botswana under Ministry of Health’s Specialist Health Services Programme (SHSP). His current area of interest is developing and implementing newer strategies for raising the quality of health care delivered and also exploring its add-on benefits in addressing the concerns of employment generation and economic diversification through health sector.
