Dr. Rajan Sharma has completed his Super specialisation in Urology and Renal transplantation from prestigious Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital, Nadiad, Gujarat in 2009. After finishing his training he worked as a faculty in the Department of Urology and Renal transplantation at the same institute for 1 year. During his stay in Nadiad he received extensive training in Renal Transplant and Laparoscopic Donor Nephrectomy at Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital with experience of more than 400 kidney transplants. After finishing his training in Urology, for the past 10 years he is working in Mohali, Punjab. He has to his credit more than 2000 successful procedures of percutaneous endoscopic surgery of Kidney stones with Mini PCNL in the last 11 years. He was involved in the development of operating Kidney stones through a small needle-sized sheath called “Micro-PCNL”. This paper has also been published in the American Journal of Urology He has a special interest in laparoscopic Urology in which the entire Kidney surgery is performed from a small keyhole.
